Brian Wolff is a guitarist and singer/songwriter currently based in Austin, Texas. Born in upstate New York, Brian moved to Austin in 2012. His musical style draws influence heavily from Classic Rock, 90’s Alternative, and Americana. His songs are marked by big guitars and impactful rhythms complete with thoughtful, introspective and unique lyrics.
In Summer 2021, Wolff formed his current band, Brian Wolff & The Howlers and teamed up with producer-extraordinaire, Frenchie Smith, to get to work in the studio. His debut EP, The Punch, was released in June 2022 and follow up EP, The Golden Age, was released in July 2023. His early releases earned multiple features on KUTX’s “Song of the Day” and regular airplay on Sun Radio’s rotation.
Brian Wolff & The Howlers spent their 2024 summer hitting the road for a tour of the east coast, including an opening spot on the main stage at Spiedie Fest in Binghamton, NY, sharing the stage with Chris Young and Shaboozey. Shortly after, they were awarded a grant from the City of Austin’s Live Music Fund.
With the necessary funding secured, they immediately turned their focus on recording Wolff’s debut album, Leave the Lights On. Trickling out singles throughout the first half of the year garnered more regular rotation spins on Sun Radio, KUTX and other stations around the country. It all led up to a tour through the Mountain West states and a return home/album release show at the legendary Antone’s to a packed house of eager fans and supporters. For the third year in a row, Brian Wolff & The Howlers will be hosting their Howliday Bash: A Fundraising Concert Event to raise money for Caritas of Austin. This year's festivities will be held December 20th at Central Machine Works.
Brian Wolff & The Howlers continue to gain momentum, delivering electrifying performances and making waves in the music world.
